Manager - Material Control

Job Description Focus of the department is managing Inventory movement and levels throughout the Manufacturing Facility, utilizing Work Orders, Kanban and similar Just in Time practices in a TPS environment. Supervises, coordinates, and provides leadership to assigned staff (Expediters) in the department.  JOB REQUIREMENTS  Working with Manager, assists with the development of project plans, goals and objectives in support of the company's Strategic Plan. Cascades information regarding Strategic Plan to subordinates to ensure functional area is fully aligned with organization. Mentors and coaches employees, sharing job specific knowledge. Encourages training and development opportunities. Manages performance by setting clear objectives; engages in timely and meaningful performance appraisals and discussions to foster an environment of open communication. Demonstrates functional expertise, business acumen, and technical competencies and provides leadership in these areas. Creates an environment that fosters and supports continuous improvement, and demonstrates a sense of urgency that results in a commitment to quality results. Education/ExperienceEntry level management role within organization, requiring a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent. 4 years professional and/or management experience is required. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
