Network/Systems Administrator

Under limited supervision, defines, modifies, and implements solutions for customer-based iWarehouse installations including advanced network/systems issues, truck/site installation coordination, and database management. Recommends network systems and settings that will best meet the needs of Raymond iWarehouse customers. Trains dealer and end-user personnel in identifying technical requirements necessary for prompt resolution of issues while interfacing with Raymond Field Service. Travel to Raymond iWarehouse customer facilities may be required (anticipated to be less than 10%).

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Actively participates in a call center environment where professionalism, effective communication, and problem solving are required.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and interprets data, enabling effective/efficient identification of issues leading to technical resolution.
  • Evaluates network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency. Able to remotely troubleshoot wireless networks, software, and document systems issues.
  • Assists in the comprehension of network policies, procedures, connections, and firewalls.
  • Analyzes complex business requirements and provides various alternatives that best meet Raymond and customer needs.
  • Leads teams and provides guidance and technical support to department members on technical-related testing, monitoring, and problem resolution.
  • Interfaces directly with iWarehouse / Engineering team(s) to identify and address customer and service center issues with iWarehouse-related product.
  • Identifies and develops corrective action plans addressing feedback and countermeasure implementation associated with Field Service-related issues.
  • Maintains contact with outside organizations for maintenance and service of the network/system.
  • Keeps abreast of innovation in state-of-the-art networks/systems techniques.

 

Excellent analytical ability to recognize the need for change in policies, standards, or procedures is required. Excellent interpersonal and project management skills are required to effectively deliver technical solutions and information to individuals inside and outside the company. Needs to be able to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and dependability.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
