Fabrication Nester / Programmer

Supports production in the Fabrication area and provides secondary support to Ram Cell and Rail areas. Functions will include nesting of parts into metal sheets of varying thicknesses employing SigmaNest software with OKK machining and Punch Press operations, as well as troubleshooting programming problems in the above mentioned areas / processes. The typical start time for this position is 4:00 or 5:00 a.m., and is subject to change based on business requirements. Will also be responsible to provide on-site and/or on-call weekend support as required.



  • Assists engineers and designers, handling assignments which integrate elementary concepts to solve problems with well-known historical similarities.
  • Works from general/oral instructions and follows established work instructions to complete tasks. Requires little assistance or direct supervision on more routine assignments.
  • Employ Toyota Production System (TPS) tools to ensure a safe, ergonomically correct, defect-free work environment to support daily business plan requirements.
  • Must be able to work in an expansive, highly active manufacturing environment as required to learn production processes and resolve issues directly in the production area.


The successful candidate should possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively learn and use complex software and to learn new technologies as required.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver reports and data outputs with a minimum of errors or delays.
  • Demonstrated ability to routinely apply root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Pro Engineer Software, MS Office suite, gages, meters, and hand tools.

Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with internal customers as well as with reports and documents. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to plan, organize, and carry out technical activities. Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and successfully multi-task. Work progress is reviewed frequently by team leaders, management, peers and customers.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
