About the position:
We are looking for an Engineering Training Program Coordinator to collaborate with subject matter experts and engineering leaders to coordinate training documentation, content and delivery to the Engineering workforce, with a primary initial focus on entry level engineers in the Mechanical, Electrical, Software and Manufacturing/Industrial disciplines.
In this position, you will:
Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of engineering employee training needs and records in the Learning Management System in collaboration with Human Resources and Training and Development.
Create and implement a consistent, informative, and rewarding Onboarding process and training cadence for new engineers in multiple engineering departments and disciplines that includes general and job-specific content.
Continue the learning experience from college to full-time employment through the employee life cycle to boost employee engagement and dedication and assure new employees come up to speed quickly and consistently to allow for continued learning, adding new job-appropriate skills.
Work with Training Development to determine the best training method and blended learning approach for each area of content to include eLearning modules, in-person classes, and social learning in support of the engineering training continuum.
Coordinate venues, vendors, etc.
as appropriate.
Communicate and coordinate with the Engineering Leadership and Training and Development teams regarding project status and timelines.
Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts and work with them to coordinate development with Instructional Designers for new training classes/material and presentation content.
Drive introduction of the content to the organization.
Collaborate with other departments to market company training opportunities to employees and encourage participation.
Establish assessment standards, metrics and benchmarks to evaluate the program's success.
Compile and analyze data to identify future training priorities and initiatives.
Work with engineering leadership to complete and keep current a skills gap analysis (Individual and Department level) and help to find/develop training to close the gaps.
Coordinate with individual engineers and their managers to determine their training needs and career objectives that would be enhanced/advanced through addition of new skills.
Maintain the functional competency matrix and identify the areas of improvement Continuous improvement - of the training programs and tools, content and overall skill level of the engineering department and individuals through the training and development organization.
Coordinate the budget set for training, assisting individual managers plan training allocations to their budgets annually.

About the total compensation package:
Wage-Expected to be between $57,283.
00 and $73,443.
00 depending on the selected candidate's background.
