Position
Summary:
The Chef/Manager will work as part of a team in a corporate dining cafeteria performing managerial duties and hands on food preparation while providing exceptional customer service on a daily basis.
Position is Monday - Friday.
P&L Experience a Must.
Food Protection Manager Certification aka ServSafe is a must.

Duties Include:
The daily operation of the food service department, including day-to-day supervision of staff, cooking, preparation of menu items and specials.
Financial reporting and administration.
Purchasing and inventory management.
Performs Human Resources and administrative tasks such as training, coaching, hiring, scheduling, and paperwork.
Ensures food production and delivery routines, procedures and schedules are accurately maintained.
Follows proper food handling procedures and monitors food spoilage.
Acts as a liaison with client staff and ensures a positive working relationship is maintained.
Open and/or closes the kitchen.
Makes DAILY bank deposits Displays polite, friendly, efficient and responsive attitude toward co-workers, client and client's customers/patients while performing job duties.
Performs all other duties as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience in a Corporate Dining, Restaurant, or Hotel facility Full comprehension and prior management of P&L a must A sound knowledge of all cooking methods, experienced in volume cooking.
Experience in menu planning and engineering, food costing, yield calculation, portion control; maintenance of all records pertaining to food safety, inventory and labor.
Food Protection Manager certificate that is not expired Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment.
